Product Description:
The three effect falling film evaporator is an efficient and energy-saving evaporation and concentration equipment based on the multi-effect evaporation principle. It is widely used in industries such as food, medicine, and chemical engineering. Its core application is in the dehydration and concentration of aqueous solution materials (such as traditional Chinese medicine extracts, fruit juice, dairy products, bone soup, industrial wastewater, etc.), to enhance the solid content of the material.
The core of its operation lies in achieving stepwise concentration through three evaporators (or evaporation chambers) connected in series: The material enters the heating tubes of each effect from the top, and under the influence of gravity and secondary steam, it forms a uniform thin film along the tube wall and flows downwards. Simultaneously, it is heated by the steam outside the tubes, undergoing rapid vaporization and moisture separation. The secondary steam generated by the previous effect serves as the heating source for the subsequent effect, with only the one effect consuming fresh steam, significantly reducing energy consumption (compared to a single-effect evaporator, steam consumption can be reduced by over 60%).
The equipment possesses three major advantages: Firstly, it facilitates low-temperature concentration, effectively protecting heat-sensitive components from being destroyed; secondly, it is highly efficient and stable, with thin-film flow increasing the heat transfer area, short material residence time, and resistance to scaling and coking; thirdly, it exhibits strong adaptability, allowing flexible adjustment of process parameters based on material viscosity and concentration, with a concentration ratio of up to 10:1 or higher.
