Production description:
The process of extracting pectin from plants is to separate pectin from its closely connected cellulose hemicellulose and other substances, transfer pectin to solution, and then precipitate pectin.

Acid extraction method is a traditional industrial pectin production method, which is currently used in the extraction process of pectin. Its principle is to use the hydrolysis property of pectin in dilute acid solution to hydrolyze the original pectin in the peel to water-soluble pectin, so that the pectin is transferred from the peel to the aqueous phase to form a pectin aqueous solution, and then use alcohol to precipitate the pectin.
